Worker’s Satisfaction and Intention toward Working from Home—Foreign Non-EU Citizens vs. National Workers’ Approach: Case Study of Central European Countries (Visegrád Group (V4))

The COVID-19 lockdown has brought about many sudden changes in the social and work environment, causing organizations businesses to change conditions adapt new situation which affected millions of workers who shifted telework. teleworkers’ variations gender, age, residency situation, status as national or foreign employees, other aspects create differences their response toward telework experience. This study attempts fill literature gap concerning differentiation between employees’ satisfaction with working from home experience future intention home, a case Visegrád Group an example Central European countries. found that 84.4% teleworkers were satisfied but no significant difference was experience; this mainly derives allocating gained time social–personal activities. A surprising result presented by research is that, spite fact non-EU-citizen teleworking experience, they do not tend due fears losing jobs residence permits, whereas have if given opportunity. Another important addition development scale specifically for measuring employee instead using traditional job scales.
